Page Submission

Web page submission is one of the most important areas of your local Internet marketing campaign. If you do it right, lots of juicy traffic will come your way. Screw it up, and you will be wondering why no one can find you.

The first question you will need to address is: should you do it yourself, pay someone else to do it for you, or use a company like SiteSell to automate the whole process.

Do It Yourself

If you decide to do it yourself, more power to you! I personally like this approach because you retain control of your campaign, and you learn a lot about the process of small business marketing at the same time! You will need a software program, but there are plenty to choose from.

  • Axandra offers two software products.  IBP is the more important product.  With it, you can optimize your site, and promote it for maximum search engine ranking. Their other product, ARELIS, is a link popularity management tool.  Both are very well designed, and have lots of awards to back them up.
  • Go Toast offers a fully integrated set of tools that will do just about anything you want with regard to web page submission and website promotion. They offer a 14 day free trial, and rank very well at alexa. They are especially good at PPC submissions. Very solid.
  • First Place Software offers a wonderful program that "does it all."  It is fairly inexpensive, easy to use, and comes with an online video tutorial that makes learning painless and fast. I use this myself on a daily basis for a couple of my websites. It works easily, makes sense and everything is easy to follow.
  • Also, if you want help with website submission, but don't want to shell out for a stand-alone program, take a look at and They both rank well at alexa and have clean web environments to work in.

Submission Services

If you have the bucks, and want to employ an outside website submission service to help you, there are two ways to go.

First, you can go right to the top, and hire a first-rate do-it-all company. In this category I recommend -

Second, if you want to hire an outside service, but don't have major dollars to spend, take a look at -

All three of these companies offers "economy" plans for website submission. They rank well at alexa, and are not making outrageous claims - such as "top three positions in 1000 search engines for $19.95 per month." If you see this, run.

The more time you spend at , the more it will become obvious to you that I think SiteBuildIt from SiteSell is the way to go when it comes to local Internet marketing.

I am not saying that the local Internet marketer shouldn't use other tools, and learn from other resources. They should.

The problem is that SiteSell just does  so many things for you... and does them right. In this busy world, it's hard to sign up for any other hosting - promotion - tracking - submission - optimization company when

SiteSell is so far ahead... and still getting better!
